TODAY, following the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol’s vote to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress, Governor Edward Rendell, Chairman of Never Again PAC, an independent expenditure organization dedicated to holding the most dangerous Republicans in Congress accountable, released the following statement:

“Steve Bannon is an anti-American, facist, crook who led some of the Trump administration’s worst abuses. And that was before he refused to testify before the U.S. Congress about his role in the deadly January 6 attack on the Capitol. Every American regardless of party should support the January 6 panel’s efforts to hold those responsible accountable — especially President Trump and those closest to him —  for that reprehensible day and I’m grateful to Chairman Bennie Thompson and the committee for their work to bring them to justice. For those who refuse to be accountable, including the 147 members of the Treason Caucus who voted to overturn the will of the people even after the insurrection, Never Again PAC will be there to hold them accountable at the ballot box.”

Never Again PAC will target the most vulnerable of the 147 Republican Members who refused to certify the electoral college — the “Treason Caucus” — as part of its mission to break the vicious cycle where Republicans are rewarded for taking extreme, anti-democratic positions. Never Again PAC plans to defeat members of Congress who carried Donald Trump’s authoritarian policies, culminating in the deadly attack on the Capitol.

Never Again PAC was founded by David Bowes who has held a number of senior roles on campaigns including most recently as Senator Chris Coons’ Finance Director and Ian Moskowitz, a Partner at Hilltop Public Solutions and veteran of the Biden Primary and Biden-Harris Campaigns.
